El Mirador tour starts at 6:00 am at the entrance of Secreto del Bosque; we will take a few minutes to know each other and give the instructions we need to follow to enjoy this adventure.

Once on the terrain, it's time to prepare cameras and binoculars to start birdwatching, taking advantage of the fact that birds are more active in the early hours of the morning and you can observe them more easily (El Mirador has an approximate perimeter of 2 km, in which you can move freely looking for the best spot to observe and photograph). You will be accompanied by the SDBD team all the time; The SDBD team will guide you and share experiences during this activity. The approximate duration of this activity is 2.5 hours.

El Secreto del Bosque Doradal was a cattle farm for many years and has been restored with native trees. For this reason, we will find forested areas and open fields depending on the vegetation growth process. This will allow us to see the beautiful birds that inhabit this territory and capture incredible images from a comfortable position.
We are a family passionate about nature, and our goal is to share the knowledge we have acquired observing wildlife by exploring this territory. We are not ornithologists or biologists, but we will be happy to guide you and show you our favorite spots. If you are already an expert birdwatcher, we would love to exchange experiences with you and complement our knowledge with your teachings.

Important: We believe in the beauty and perfection of nature, which is why we do NOT allow the reproduction of artificial sounds. Therefore, each experience will be unique and challenging because we will seek to find the largest number of birds in their 100% natural environment. We try to minimize our intervention in the ecosystem, so we cannot guarantee the sighting of any specific species during the tour. Each species is magical, and we invite you to be surprised by each of the inhabitants of the Secreto del Bosque Doradal.
